About this site
This is an independent, fan-made countdown to Grand Theft Auto VI. It exists because the dates around the game are genuinely confusing — two delays, two different trailer unlock times, and a pre-load date most coverage ignores.
Where the dates come from
Every date on this site is taken from a primary source: the Rockstar Games Newswire, Rockstar’s own social accounts, Take-Two Interactive investor communications, or Netflix. Each fact links to its source, and the full record is kept in the project’s documentation.
Where a source is ambiguous, we say so rather than picking the more clickable reading.
What we deliberately do not publish
There is no review embargo date here, because none has been announced. There is no PC release date, because none has been announced. We do not present rumours as scheduled events, and we do not show hours and minutes counting down to times that were never given — the launch, the pre-load and the bonus cutoff are shown as whole days for that reason.
